Hi Dmitrii we had three subsites and over twenty content types that needed various levels of permissions and we thought Drupal would help us navigate that granularity. For example, members-only content where the title and description is visible to anonymous users but one field needs to be visible to logged in users who have x, y, or z roles. Also things like e-commerce or calendars or even new content types on-the-fly were important enough to make us choose Drupal.

We are still working on bounce rate and have found that our campaigns tracking is in line with expectations ie when our Twitter visitors come to the site, do they sign up for the email list ? Those metrics and other conversions are what we are focusing on in 2019.

In terms of Cold Fusion it wasn’t sustainable for our 40+ person team to be able to make the distributed content production needed to keep our site up-to-date — now various content editors and program managers can post their own blogs, articles, images without having to be centralized in the hands of a few specialized tech-savvy users.
